Pedln, I can sense already that Anne Tyler's Liam Pennywell is going to find himself in friendly, understanding company. How typical for AT to choose a protagonist with serious memory problems - and to portray him with her light, humorous touch. I'm really looking forward to this.
Pedln and I were talking earlier about AT's last book, before
Noah's Compass. She remembered that we discussed "Digging to America" back on SeniorNet before it went down. That was her last one, Pedln - it came out in 2006. In case you are curious, here is a list of Anne Tyler's novels and the years in which they were published -
How many of them have you read?If Morning Ever Comes (1964)
The Tin Can Tree (1965)
A Slipping-Down Life (1970)

Celestial Navigation (1974)
Searching for Caleb (1975)
Earthly Possessions (1977)
Morgan's Passing (1980)
