Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO

The rules are simple:

The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.

The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title.   They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.

At  the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only  one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.

The winner becomes the new challenger.

Ex:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___

What is it?

Good Luck !!

And no U's, Jane.

I really thought you all would have gotten this one by now, even though it is new. The novel involves a favorite set of characters and venue, but not written by the original author.

Hurray for Jane.

I've never read any P.D. James. This is one I might borrow from the library to read.

It's had great reviews - most recently Michael Dirda in the Washington Post.  I planned to read it immediately after reading his comments.

Have you read it Jane?

I haven't read anything by J E yet.  Maybe someday.

Please give me a day.  I'm here at Panera with laptop and trifocals.  Not a good combo.

It's 3P day -- I'm between the protime and the pool.
