Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO
The rules are simple:
The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.
The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title. They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.
At the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.
The winner becomes the new challenger.
Ex:
Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T __ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
What is it?
Good Luck !!
___ E H ___ ___ ___
T ___ E
___ E ___ ___ T ___ ___ ___ ___
___ O R E ___ E R S

I want the first word to be behold, but that doesn't get me anywhere.

OOOOHHHH
That's got to be it, Jane. I also kept wanting the last word to be Forevers, but couldn't make sense of that either.

WINNER!!! WINNER!!! WINNER!!!
Congratulations, Jane.
I know nothing about the book other than that it's set in India, but that title has been popping up in a lot of different places. Heavily reviewed, I guess.

Sorry, no N
letters guessed: O, N
I forget whether we answer all guesses, or choose one, but since the latter discourages people from guessing, I choose the former.

I think we started out answering only one guess, but it seems to have evolved into answering more than one, but not necessarily all. This seems to be working well.
