Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO

The rules are simple:

The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.


The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title.   They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.

At  the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only  one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.

The winner becomes the new challenger. 


Ex:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___


What is it?

Just checking in case the spacing misled me: is that a 3 letter word, a 5 letter word, two 2 letter words and a 6 letter word?

Funny, with all the Es, the Ns and the S - there wasn't much else missing, was there?

  Julian Barnes' The Sense of an Ending won the Man Booker prize last year.  For some reason I'd written it down to look into, and then drew a line through it...but can't remember why.  Have you heard anything about it...good or bad?

Duuhhhh!

Not Taco Bell Material. What an interesting title, don't you think? I think it is one of the books reviewed in my library newsletter this month.

The author also wrote a book called In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks: . . . And Other Complaints from an Angry Middle-Aged White Guy .  I guess that is a take on the scientific studies that point to pesticides, hormones, and other pharmaceuticals feminizing male fish and frogs (and possibly humans).
