BLANKO

Welcome to our newest brain teaser

The rules are simple:

The Challenger posts  either a title or the name of an author, not both.  One letter is supplied.  More information may be given, but isn't required.

Example:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___

What is it?

The Contestants guess--the title (or author) if they can, or a letter.  One guess between appearances of the Challenger for each contestant.

At  the end of the day, or more often if the Challenger wants, the Challenger will add one or more of the letters the Contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.  (Note that the original supplied letter might also appear elsewhere.)

The winner becomes the new Challenger.

Good Luck !!

WINNER WINNER WINNER

That's OK, JoanP, I figured you would probably guess this one anyway.  Have you read it?  I found it both irritating and fascinating.

Name of the Rose - an oldie. I remember being irritated mostly. Have you read it recently?

This one is a new one...

How about M?

JoanP, I read The Name of the Rose when it first came out.  By now it's pretty dim in my memory.

I find I get excited at the start of Eco's novels, but some how, always get impatient for the end.  Can't put them down because I was hooked from the start.

M?  No M -  Sorry...
