BLANKO
Welcome to our newest brain teaser
The rules are simple:
The Challenger posts either a title or the name of an author, not both. One letter is supplied. More information may be given, but isn't required.
Example:
Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T __ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
What is it?
The Contestants guess--the title (or author) if they can, or a letter. One guess between appearances of the Challenger for each contestant.
At the end of the day, or more often if the Challenger wants, the Challenger will add one or more of the letters the Contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears. (Note that the
original
supplied letter might also appear elsewhere.)
The winner becomes the new Challenger.
Good Luck !!

The Hemingses of Monticello.
That was a toughy, JOanK, but a good one. No, it is not one of those titles in the Schwalbe book.

Good for you Pedlin. I hesitated to post a title with just proper names in it, but figured you all would know it.

There is no C and there is no R. JoanP, I'm surprised you haven't guessed this yet, and you too, PatH, because I think I know a little about what you've been reading.

Ooops. Duh.
The
Etiquette of Illness
, by Susan Halpern.
Pedln and I were just reading about it in
The End of Your Life Book Club
, in preparation for starting the discussion next Friday. It sounds like a useful book of tips on how to behave in ways that are useful to a sick person without being trying or painful.

I read the first chapter a couple of weeks ago - but didn't note Susan Halpern's book. That was a good one - had us going!

You got it
PatH.
Congratulations.
I downloaded it to my Kindle because I would really like to read some day. Library didn't have it. But this downloading business has got to stop.
It's interesting how we all see different words for this came. I would never have thought of eloquence.

Let's see who can see this one -
Non-fiction. This book belonged to my father - who always wanted me to read it. Just couldn't stay with it. I'm curious to know if any of you read it - finished it.
