Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO

The rules are simple:

The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.

The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title.   They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.

At  the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only  one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.

The winner becomes the new challenger.

Ex:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___

What is it?

Good Luck !!

Very good choice, Jane.

Is there a book, based on Fry's figuring out the first two words, called

World War 3?

IF not, how about an R

Almost there, Jane!  This author of this book was inspired by one of Studs Terkel's books.

World War Z

Mel Brooks

A post-apocalyptic zombie war.  It makes OK reading for that sort of thing, but there are inconsistencies.  It's just been made into a movie with Brad Pitt.

I did read the book.  Normally I'm not into zombies, but I was visiting my daughter once when her book club was going to discuss it, so I read the book and went to the meeting.  They were surprised that anyone's mother would be willing to read that sort of thing.

The movie looks like it's totally not my kind of thing.
