Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO

The rules are simple:

The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.

The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title.   They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.

At  the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only  one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.

The winner becomes the new challenger.

Ex:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___

What is it?

Good Luck !!

Yes, BlueBird24. I thought from the title it would be a fun read, but the first few pages I read in the sample describe things definitely not fun. Even thought the author tried to be a little on the light side, definitely not a fun situation. It was a National Book Award winner. My library has it, so I think I'll take a look at it when I go in later this week. For some reason my branch has it in the fiction section rather that the teen section.

I loved the Oz books, read a lot of them.  We used to trade around with friends.

I didn't read any of them. Until about two years ago I didn't even know there was more than one. There are lots of them. http://manybooks.net/authors/baumlfra.html

I will be back later with a new quiz. I need to do some grocery shopping this morning.
