Welcome to our newest brain teaser: BLANKO

The rules are simple:

The Challenger poses and indicates either a title or the name of an author, but not both.

The Contestants guess the title or author and post their answer; if they can, the solve the entire title.   They can also suggest another letter to fill in one of the blanks.

At  the end of the day if the puzzle is not solved,
the Challenger then must add only  one of the suggested letters the contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears.

The winner becomes the new challenger.

Ex:

Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:

   ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T    __ ___   ___ ___ ___ ___

What is it?

Good Luck !!

Off topic:  Today's (June 2) on-line issue of the New Yorker has an interesting article on the author John Green entitled "How the author of “The Fault in Our Stars” built an ardent army of fans."  (I'd not realized he was the author of the novel, "Looking for Alaska" which I'd read.)

Another book for my TBR list.  What an interesting life Sussman has lived traveling all over the world photographing all those interesting organisms.  (Wonder if she was born wealthy?)  That link to her talk was interesting.  Now I'll have to dig up some more info on the creosote bushes and the yucca plants you see so abundantly as you drive thru the desert here in So. Calif.  Also the giant coastal redwood trees in northern California which I thought were among the oldest living things.  Oh, and I signed up to receive notice of the Ted talks.  Thanks.

Well, here comes another puzzle:

Fiction.  A book I read some time ago.  I could be wrong but I bet you've not heard of it, but might like if you read it.

Yes, Pat, you're right about those words.  Maybe this will help:  I kept waiting for someone to ask if there were more A's than the first one I gave, but no one did.  So I've added them.

C O N F E S S I O N S

O F

Here is another one that will take a while to guess. Sorry about the long title. It is rather popular with the guys in my area because the subject (the person) in the title came from this area.

__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __:

__ __ __ __ __   __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __,

__ __ __   __ __ __ __   __ __    __ __ __ __ __ __,
