You've summed up the pros and cons of internet learning beautifully, Betta.  Both the face-to-face and the online offer diversity  that, I think, can benefit every student....young and old.

Totally agree! Love the internet, but enjoy being with groups of people face-to-face.

I’ve looked thru the list and read your postings, I don’t think anyone has listed edx.org. It’s also college courses, or videos sponsored by colleges. if you “audit” the course, I think most of them are free. Look at it when you have a free afternoon - it can be a real trip down the rabbit hole.

I’m looking at one sponsored by Columbia U and the NY Historical Society titled “Women Have Always Worked. “
