BLANKO
Welcome to our newest brain teaser
The rules are simple:
The Challenger posts either a title or the name of an author, not both. One letter is supplied. More information may be given, but isn't required.
Example:
Title of Book: three words, a prize winning novel:
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ T __ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
What is it?
The Contestants guess--the title (or author) if they can, or a letter. One guess between appearances of the Challenger for each contestant.
At the end of the day, or more often if the Challenger wants, the Challenger will add one or more of the letters the Contestants have suggested, everywhere it appears. (Note that the
original
supplied letter might also appear elsewhere.)
The winner becomes the new Challenger.
Good Luck !!

Well, yes, I know WHO you are - but does spelling count?
Will give it a try -

And the
Winner
is (drum roll please).......
JoanP
.
You got all but one letter, JoanP. His first name is Lev. I don't think most people could tell you what his full name is and the younger set is likely to say, Who?

Well, I'll just have to continue to call him Mr. Tolstoy, as we are not close enough for me to call him "Lev."
This title is by a well known author - I've never read it until now - a Christmas gift from #4 son...Really enjoyable.
